great skill you have, was looking at the runner/injector placement...what about the idea of rolling the injector 30 or so degrees, and place them into the runner for the opposite head, for a more...
pull a plug, and look inside, flatops are what your looking for to be LQ9
buff job i assume? looks great
the truck definitly has a nice look to it as is, but i'm partial to the chevy front end as you can see, the two tone should stay, with maybe the black front end like mine.
Well, after searching various manufacturer website, and all the ls1 related sites, ive yet to get the info to be able to choose a piston i'm in need of.
Simply put, i need a set of forged pistons...
wow, thats quite a difference..looks clean..very nice :hyper2:
Cheers, hope everyone has a great new years, and all the best in 2008! :)
your truck looks great, reminds me of my last project, wish i never sold it :(

kind of got my heart set on the 6.0L setup..especially now that i just picked up a low mileage lq4 last week.
A rod/piston upgrade for a 370 is definitly doable.
to be honest, thats pretty much just the advice ive needed all day...its not often the cheaper choice is the better choice..i know my wife would appreciate this decision..if i was to ever tell her...
Doh! so many numbers in my head today..your absolutly right, its a toss up between a 408, and a 370..and i guess the 370 was on my mind at that moment :)
Thats a good price, actually debating about building a 370, how much for the 6.125 rods, and a 4340 4.00 stroke crank shipped to eastern canada?
Thats if Canada is even an option to ship...
nice looking pics..awesome truck
always love the reaction I get when people see a fast truck...great story:)
great working truck you have there..would love to get a run down of what youve done so far powertrain wise.
maybe someone thats done or going to do this will give a pictorial..i'm also suffering from lazy -arm- a- nitis..would be a nice upgrade!
How is this cam install write up coming? I'ts getting colder up here now, so the performance mods will be starting soon..lol
....:bash:
Ground force 2" dropped spindles - SOLD
Ground force 3" drop coils - SOLD
DJM tubular upper control arms, missing one balljoint, i'd just replace both , the powdercoating is bad in spots, abit...
disregard this now..i ended up ordering a new one locally..lucky me..hard to swallow $543 before taxes on a new one...damn i love living in eastern Canada :nono:
Like it says..i'd like a decent SS Bumper cover to fit my 2004 silverado..one thats black would be a bonus..my location is Nova Scotia , Canada B2Z1S4
Would appreciate any interest..and i'm aware...
to be honest, I have a hell of a time getting anyone willing to ship up here to Eastern Canada..paying via paypal, or whatever is definitly not an issue :)
I'd grab that bumper cover without hesitation if shipping to canada wasnt an issue for ya :thumb:
