Here is what I had in mind.
03 truck single cab, I'm swapping from a 4.3 to an 05 v8 with returnless rails.
I know I have two options here.
Run the corvette filter and AN hose up to the rail.
Swap over to the return rails...
My truck is body dropped, Im running a ctsv pan. Cheaper than the f body pan and sits right above the crossmember
Yea I know about the fuel gauge. I will run a newer style pump/ float
In my modified suburban gas tank.
How bout trailblazer/envoy interchanges? Are the gauges controlled via the same signals?

Since my bracket is different its really hard to see a size on pics.
I dont have any yards in my area that will still let you wander around and pull parts....
Im thinking molded-in overhead console with bezels that match the dash to hold twin air gauges, wrapped in suede with some smooth fiberglassed treatment that will be painted the same as the color...
Thanks droopy,
I would be happy with a 1/4 inch...

That site linked to the original Malibu site that I used for my setup.

The engine in my 90 was botched and peiced together....
Nice write-up kewl, im subscribing for future refrence.

He turned the neck not...
Thanks Trey,
It was set up to lay 24s on stock uppers and lowers before the bodydrop. I wont be running anything that big.
I plan to swap out the stamped uppers for modified 25/3500 tubular uppers...
The stockers snap right into the new seats' built in buckles.
They can just bolt right back on and work fine but ill probably figure out something a little more custom.
Im running 2002 olds intrigue full power buckets in my 90. Welded up some Frankenstein seat brackets for them to drop in....

And the rats nest that...
I also got a major hurdle crossed off my list.
I got the harness ready for a stand-alone.
I also custom routed the wires for a cleaner appearance.
Heres the stock mess....
I had to make a decision on keeping the column shift or going to a center console shifter.
Since the truck is bodydropped and im using a newer 4l60e the mechanical linkage for shifting wasnt going...

So now that the engine sat nicely and with the tranny crossmember in place it was time to raise the tranny tunnel. I cut it and raised it at an angle 2.5 inches up front then filled it in, welded it...
I also cut the tranny crossmember and modified it to bolt into the inside of the frame and lay completely flat. Unfortunately I didnt get pics.
I also started to modify the 90 seat brackets to bolt...
I had to resize a ton of pics, but here they are.
Last time I posted I had mocked up the engine and the truck pan was not letting the truck lay out completely.
Got the cts-v pan in, bolted...
Wow I cant believe its been six months already!
Texas summers suck its been way to hot too work in the shop most days.
I did get some progress, Im uploading some pics on photobucket so I can post...
The newest clip you can bolt on with no fabrication is all the way up to 06, chevy or gmc.
But if you can fabricate and bodywork any clip is possible.
I was finalizing up my wiring on my 90 and have the same question. Mine isnt running yet so I dont know what it will and wont do.
I know I cant tie in a 12+ hot to activate the ac idle up when the...
I have finished my stand alone harness and have all the wires ready for a fuseblock and to splice into the trucks original wiring but I'm having issues with one wire/circuit.
