I would recommend it. I am lowered 4/6 and using the F-Body oil pan. It sits just above the front crossmember and trans crossmember.

Welcome to the forum. You should have no problem towing with the 6 liter. What transmission are you going to use? Going after 450 will just add to the cost, but you can do a cam and spring swap....

You should be able to. All the calculations are done in the PCM. The PCM gets info from the VSS, and then sends the signal out to the speedo.

You need to use the engine temp sensor that was on the original engine. And connect it to your gauges. As far as I know, there is no need to change anything in the tune for the engine temp. Now for...

Those are the colors. One is the low speed and one is the high speed. And they correspond to the low and high speed on the new pcm.

On my truck, I used the VSS wiring outside the cab on the firewall. Directly into the PCM, like a three way splice.
