Those Kumhos suck. I had them on my truck for a while and moved to the Hankook Ventus RH07 and am on my 2nd set. Better than the Yokahamas (too hard) and last longer than the Kumhos with better...
Doesn't sound right to me. They will run 13's in good air pretty much bone stock. Unless he was a 2wd and was spinning bad out of the hole he should have taken you...good kill.
I'm suprised you guys haven't been churning out 1000rwhp stock bottom end 4.8s right and left...they should be a dime a dozen at this point! AHHAHAHA!
Better than tearing up a transmission/rearend and having to do it later. A working used trans/rear is worth some money...a broken one isn't and you might break something else in the process.
Very true but the price difference from 120s to 200s is $1000 hahaha! Might have to dial it down a bit.
He gets so many customers in his shop in Oak Grove that he can barely keep up. He doesn't even have a store front where he is at now just a garage. The only reason I'm looking into this is because...
This car will be done right. My cousin has a performance shop and is about to open a location in downtown Monroe Louisiana. He has had a dynojet 248 for a couple years now and has been to the...
I spoke with my cousin some on this today and he was already planning on twin Aeromotive 340s but if a single A1000 will do the job that would be even better. Are the Edelbrock rails that come with...
The chassis is going to get the full treatment. It will be setup to run 8's legal with a cage too.
What kind of upcharge are we looking at? This turbo is right about $500 so going to say $1000 isn't out of the question. This is going to be a race gas trailer car and run on slicks. Also what...
I'm helping my cousin spec out a turbo build for a '95 Mustang/5.3. This car is going to be gutted and light with a powerglide. He has a forged 5.3 and the car and is shooting for mid to low 9's...
FWD cars need a driver to make them fly and they are WAY harder to get out of the hole with higher HP.
That civic was pretty fast honestly...good kill!
Is this the same as the TBSS intake? These are good for about 15hp over the older truck intakes right? I'd love to have this on my SSS but I'm broke at the moment.
That's at like 5psi if I remember right. I think the stock TRD will go to around 10psi and about 50hp more.
Toyota will put the TRD supercharger on quite a few of their models. The 5.7 Tundra is a BEAST with a charger. The Tacomas aren't that bad but you have to think about something else too...if he hit...
Did that guy know when he was supposed to go??? Looks like it would have been closer if you both had started at the same time...
That cam has been shown to work very well with a procharger...just saying...
How much more boost would this setup make over a set of twins? These setups work well on diesels because they turn lower RPM but gas burners (and LSX motors for sure) like to spin high.
Doesn't make them GM casting chrome SS wheels...You can get OE wheels cheaper than stock castings all day long.
If they're chrome I've seen sets sell for $1000 without tires several times...
Exactly...and forget the 6.0. Do a 408 and have the 317 heads ported since nothing external will give it away and it will eat up the lope of a fairly large cam nicely. Could be a mid 12 second...
A friend of mine has a double cab tundra and it's no slouch. He's been LOW 14s on factory tires with just the TRD cold air kit, the rear cats removed and different mufflers. My SSS ran a 14.50...
