www.Wait4MePerformance.com Much better price on harness modification. Used them many years ago and was very happy with their work.
Simply disconnect plug by plug, ground wire by ground wire. Disconnect the battery first. Can you clue us in, as to why you need to remove the engine wire harness? Is the engine harness defective?...
Call BRP and ask for Jeff Georges. Nice guy and extremely knowledgable and has been around. He did all of Year Ones custom installs & fabrications, does many TV shows, Hot Rod Power Tours, built many...
The answer is no.
Can the regular 0411 LS computer control a newer 4L70E properly? Thanks for any experienced input you might have.:)

All solid black wires are engine block grounds. All black with white tracer wires are chassis ground wires. Any LS engine can be turned over as long as you'd like, for pre-oiling, by simply holding...
For a 1996 truck, all you need to do is make the new engine a stand-alone install, wiring wise. Its pretty straight forward. You can easily hook the few wires from the stand-alone into the existing...
I didn't want to take apart the suspension on both sides of the truck, just to access the bolts to remove the frame mounts for the engine, just to have to put it all back together again. The V-6...

My truck is a lowered '96 shortbed 2wd Fleetside, that was also a V-6/4L60E. I wanted my drivetrain as far back as possible(2002 Camaro SS LS1/4L60E), & put it right up against the firewall. I...
LOL. Could not agree with you more. Its all the little things that add up, in time...and money. That is, if you want to do everything the right way the first time & not compromize anything. These are...
