will that water pump fit a 1976 L48? if so how much for the pump itself?

Yes it will fit the L48 engine.
Be aware this pump is the short pump so the rest of the accessory drives must match as the belt placement is different.
Also, this is a reverse rotation pump, meaning you can’t use a standard V-belt drive system on it. It wont pump very well running in that direction. Reverse rotation pumps are the standard for GM SBC Serpentine belt drive systems.

If I did separate it, I would charge the same amount and you’d get all the other goodies along with it. The other parts aren’t worth much by themselves.
