I took the Honda to the track on Sunday and ran a best of 15.0. Not bad for a car built with OEM internals. (altho they aren't the ones that came in the shitty d15b7). I know its not ls1 powered, but its impressive for a car without any significant mods.

Its a DX coupe, so it came with a non-vtec engine. I did a 'mini me' (turning it into a vtec motor). The mods are:

    d16y8 head from a 97 civic EX
    d16y8 IM from a 97 EX
    d16y8 head gasket
    B16 TB
    89 Integra ZC pistons
    Shot peened rods
    Apex-i VFAC
95 Si tranny (it came with the car)

and simple bolt ons like a AEM cai, comptech header, 2.5 exhuast mandrel bend exhuast with a Blitz muffler and a SKunk2 cam gear.

I took the backseat out and a lot of the trim panels, spare tire, jack, my subs and it has Tein springs and 11 lbs each 15" rota c8's (borrowed from a friend).

I haven't dynoed it or got much tuning on it except reading the a/f gauge and playing with the vtec engaugement and a/f ratios via the VFAC. It has a 12.3 CR and i'm guessing around ~125-130 to the wheels, but i'm not 100% sure.

btw, the car is now sold.. thank god, that was a huge pile of shit.

Sounds like you would have given some gt mustangs a run for their money last friday, most of those gt stangs were running in the low 15's and high 14's.

I think we'll all forgive you now that it's sold.

Now what about that ls1 s10 project.

    later,

    allen

I'm glad its gone personally.. but then again.. i miss it

The s-10 will get a ls1 and then i will most likely boost it if i can get it to lay frame with the trubo and piping. If not, NA b/c SC wont fit with the inner fenderwells cut out..
