I ordered a shift kit 3 weeks ago using the website. Told em exactly what I wanted and put in my CC number and submitted it.
A week went by and nothing. I check my order status and it says "Order on hold." I made sure it wasn't my credit card (was maxed out )
I e-mailed em the beginning of last week and no reply. I called em at the end of last week and the lady I talked to said Chad was making sure I got the correct shift kit.
I checked my order status yesterday and still "on hold" so I e-mailed them again yesterday afternoon. I check my e-mail this afternoon and no reply...again
    What's the deal?
Anyone else have bad experiences with this company? If all else fails I'll just cancel the order and buy it from someone else. Sheesh, what ever happend to customer service?

That is where I ordered my parts from. Got them in an efficient manner.

I met Chad in person once and he is one busy ass mo-fo. Him another cat run that place so he works a ton. Their warehouse is in a different place than their office. You will get your parts, but just be patient. I'd try calling their office later around 6-8pm CST.

That long for just a shift kit , hmmm, i've heard bad things about transmissioncenter.net , as far as their trannys, but they have all the parts i wanted and they got here in two days, regular shipping, faster than 2-3 day shipping, i was happy, i wouldn't buy a tranny from them though.

    good luck ,

Yeah I too have heard about transmission center...I don't want something not built locally. If it is then you have to take the POS out again when it breakes and spend another $400 in labor even though their initial mistake is free to fix.

It is hard finding a good local builder, but like I said Cottman a smaller individually owned chain store has done me right many times.
