Retired LBB from daily status. For a few reasons, she is thirsty, she sucks in the snow, and I let some maintenance stuff go. So now she's down getting lotsa work, and lotsa improvements.
So I picked up a 2006 Jetta TDI to do the daily thing. Cheaper on insurance. Getting me an honest hand calculated 54 mpg last time I filled it up. And it's cheaper to make payments on this then to drive LBB. And the trucks been paid off for years. Plus I've never had a car. I wanted a car.
Here's a picture from when I was out playing in the snow at work this morning. I put Nokian Hakkapeliittas on it for the winter, and it's like driving a rally car around. It only slides around and spins if I want it to. Pushed through snow up to the headlights without flinching. Winter sucks. Gotta have as much fun with it as I can.
