Finally!!!
Well after 3 years of my truck sitting with no plates or insurance on it, I finally got it on the road today. Running great, just have to fix up a few minor issues. Only getting 3/4 throttle with the F car throttle bracket and 4.3 cable. Think a 5.3 cable should get that issue fixed. Bottom inch of my tank must be full of crappy fuel and stuff because it won't run worth a crap once it gets down to 1/16 of a tank or so. Ran it right down to E and put 50 bucks of premium in it. Came alive almost instantly. Just had it out on a back road where there's no traffic and went from a stop to 90mph or so, it sure gets there quick! Wish the RPM wouldn't drop so much shifting from 2nd to 3rd. If I shift it at 6500 or so it's not so bad. Anyway gonna put my alloy's on tomorrow! Sure feels good to drive it again.
