    anti theft

hey guys i am looking at a new or new to me truck. its an 09 1500 sierra with a 5.3l. my previous vehicle was a 2007 envoy that was stolen from my driveway for stereo atv and trailer. around this part of the woods gms are known for being stolen by the natives. so my main question is what do you guys have on your trucks for theft prevention? alarms, kill switches imobilizers? my only other option is to not buy a gm which is really hard to do.

If they are going to steal it, they're going to steal it. Fuel pump kill switch is a good idea, as is one of those Location Locks.

A good 2way alarm or location lock would be a great idea, because you might even catch the bastards.

ya i agree if they want it that bad they are going to take it. but i want as many ways possible to detur them from taking it. most of the times the alarms around here dont matter they are so quick they will be gone within 20seconds with your alarm going off. but most of the time if their is a kill switch, most of the natives are to stupid to find it or dont want to spend the time looking for it. i will have to look into a location look and what is it that allen sells?

The device we sale can alert you if the truck is broken into, tampered or taken as well as the ability to allow the owner to track it.

Imagine...truck get broken into, the Location Lock alerts you. The truck is taken and LL alerts you! You'll be about 10mins behind them tacking every movement on your smart phone.

    They are on sale. $399

i have a customer in germany that has some and yes, they work anywhere.
the $399 + $20 activation fee (charge that att applies) includes 300 free locates for one year. the following year you purchase more locates, they range from 300-unlimited locates from $7/month to $14/month, pretty cheap really.
