    my dreams have came true

GM announced on February 10, 2012 that it will be having the Duramax Diesel engine on the following vehicles:

Chevrolet Tahoe, Tahoe Hybrid, Suburban, Avalanche, Traverse, Malibu, Cruze, Camaro, Sonic and Equinox
GMC Yukon, Yukon Hybrid, Yukon XL, Acadia and Terrain
Buick LaCrosse, Verano, Regal and Enclave
Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT and CTS[citation needed]
This will happen in 2013 or 2014.

Found on wikipedia search for duramax on bottom of page

Hmmmm I have heard rumors, but no solid evidence just yet. I agree though this could be a giant leap for the US vehicle market.

I mean bmw and merc. Runs them in their small suvs and sedans. So its obvious that there is a market, just diesel is 4/gal. Can anyone see if they could find this somewhere actually creditable? I am on my blackberry and can't load many sites

Ha, I bet these "duramax" diesels they "might" put in these vehicles will be no bigger than the Isuzu 2.5L in my forklift... so don't get your hopes up.

the original "minimax" thought to be in the 1/2 ton vehicles by now was going to be a 4.5L v8 that had reverse flow heads. Its quite an engine but thanks to obama and his bailout the project got scratched even though the engine was already designed and ready to go. There are plenty of other duramax's out like in the Colorado over in Thailand and other places that are a small 2.8 that makes well into 300 ftlbs. the rumor keeps pooping back up and ill believe it when i see it, its a great idea and i really hope they produce them although i doubt the vehicle list will be that long (i mean camaro really?) ill just still with my 6.6 durty either way thank you very much

I am hoping that the same thing is going to happen that did with the ZL1. It was planned then cancelled with the bailout and was brought back from the dead. I would love to get a 4.5L Dirtymax in a half ton. I would love love love to see a hybrid diesel cruze.

Forgot one thing. It's a Wikipedia article and in no way a reliable source. One hell of a way to start an internet rumor though.

That is why I asked if anyone could find a creditable source, I bet a old chevelle or nova would be a fun dmax project.
