    Just wanted to say....

It's a Nuther Truckin pain in the rear to drop an engine in by yourself, and get everything to line up right.
That being said, My engine is secured in the truck and I started bolting the trans up. Tomorrow I'm gonna finish throwing all the accessories on and connect all the wiring. Gotta get my exhaust put back on as well. I just need to order some pushrods and I'll be 100% ready to fire it off.

In the back of my head i keep thinkin "You'd better have put everything together right".

    That is all.

Try doing it with a 5speed truck. Lining the input shaft and clutch up. Pain in the ass. But it's a good feeling when it finally drops into place.

Lol, it was a pain, but it was a lil easier than I thought it was gonna be. One of the guys at the shop bailed after he got done with his truck. Other one went home with his fam at 5 and said "call me if you really need me". I def coulda used an extra set of hands!!! I'm DONE stickin my neck out for people. Seems like i'm always helping and never get help in return. Oh well, after tomorrow ALL she will need is pushrods. I think I'm gonna talk dirty to her while I'm putting them in "oh yeah, take that 7" hardened rod!!!". Alright, I'll stop there. Eff I'm tired!!!

Yup, that doesn't sound like fun.

Yeah it's a pain, I pulled the tranny with my engine and installed it with the tranny installed on the engine (mine is a 5-speed as well). Made it go pretty easy. It was only an extra few bolts to pull it out in once piece so that's the route I took!

I thought about doing that (engine/trans combo) but I didn't want to disconnect the AC lines. I know, simple thing that woulda been easy to do. I got it in with some intense massaging but I don't wanna do it again. lol. Tomorrow I'm gonna try to make a balancer install tool and get everything ready to where all I have left is to install my pushrods. It "SHOULD" be ready to start by the 20th. That's the deadline I'm giving myself.
