very nice, i like how you mounted the fans, clean and simple.
the stance of the truck is awesome, what rims are those, they fit perfectly.
those caltracs , where did you get them, one another thing, i'm still a little confused on how they bolt up, i was thinking about getting some, what did you have to do to connect them to the body, or frame, i can kind of see how you did it on the rearend side.
someday my interior will look that nice, lol, looks good.
how's that rear window holding up, i've always liked that , but i was afraid of leaks and stuff, plus, did it clutter up the window seal and does it look clean around the window
keep it up , looking real nice,
oh, what wheels are those and what size tires.
later,
allen

2-4 Hotchkis Drop with 20x9.5 Moda(tirerack,German made brand) Painted aluminum rims. Back space is approx 5.25. I went with the 5.25 backspace to put the rims flush with the fender to give it that -"99 ss suset gold metallic reg cab step side, moss truck" Chevy never produced. If you wanted the tires to tuck I could of went with 6" backspace
The rims are heavy though 30-33lbs each. The tires are Goodyear 275-45/20 Eagle El-Cheapo' tires.
I'm looking to upgrade to 255/45-20 Toyo Proxes, slightly shorter, lighter!! and better tread.
The Breezer is holding up well after 2.5 years. No leaks but when it is open the dual exhaust is real loud through the back windowI bought it for $200, came tinted and with a storage bag. I bought it from Breezer himself in 99 before he sold his business to RKsport (I believe) . He gave me a awesome deal. I basically got a sunroof without cuting into the roof.
As far a clean lines I think it flows well with the cab, but if my truck were a differant color the black frame prolly should be painted to match.
Caltrac bars.
1) remove front leaf spring bushing
2) put caltrac aluminum bushing in it's place.
3) place the two pivoting brackets on either side of the front leaf spring eyelet.
4)replace the bottom axle u-bolt bracket with cal trac version. This has a bracket to hold the rear of the caltrac bar.
5) bolt leaf spring back on,
6) now place the adjustable bar from the pivoting bracket on front spring eyelet to the axle -ubolt braket. Adust the bar (at driving height) so that the pivoting bracket compresses against the top/front of the leaf spring.
once you have contact, preload the bar and enjoy.
***front of bar has radious rod end-male thread with nut(to lock position)
rear of bar has femal radious rod end. This enables you to adjust the lenght of the bar allowing the pivot bracket to "press" down on the leaf spring. When your driving around normally you can lenghthen the bar and "un press" the spring.
Basically the front pivot uses a bolt across the top of the leaf spring to press down on the spring and stop it from flexing, bouncing, etc. The way it achieves this is by being conected to the axle by an adjustable bar that goes underneath the leaf spring. *From the front pivot bracket to the rear axle bracket* Tension can be adjusted as well as having two sets of hole positions.
THIS IS IN MY OWN WORDS SO I HOPE IT HELPED.

Looks good. I like the Caltrac pictures. They look good under your truck.

I think your truck looks awesome. Very Clean! I too like the "99 ss suset gold metallic reg cab step side, moss truck" look, I have been wanting to go for that look since I read the article. So far I only have the Color and the Exhaust so far. After seeing your pics with the hd hood, I think that is what I want to get. Anyway keep up the good work.![]()

Were can I find those traction bars? I went to Caltrac web site and did not see them listed for a 99 1500 truck.

There not listed but they make them-give them a call,
ls1tech had a Group purchase on them a few weeks going but don't know if it's still on.
I don't have a bumper cover but it is factory gm bumper that came paintable. The airdam is just my stock base one that I had painted.
Well the bumper looks good anyway. I don't know if mine would look that good since I have a pewter truck and the chrome bumper.
