i always just run a stock tire upfront, but start out with about 17lbs for pressure, i run mine at 15, most guys are between 15-20 but depends on how they hook if you dont do well on 20 let some out, the temperature usually will have some effect too.

i definitly will be, it launches pretty hard at about 3k rpms with a little riding on the clutch then really pulls hard and seems to pull harder up top.

thx tyler i was wondering about that because last year at the 1/8th i had terrible reaction times and 2.2x 60 ft times so im hoping to drop those this year with the drag radial and i wont have my 20's, tonneau cover or tailgate weighing me down this time around.

will do bud, not yet, my buddy got a lightning just so he could say he can beat my truck so im going to beat him n/a and then either put on the whipple or ditch it for some n2o. he put up a 13.55 when they went last time so it will be a close race im sure. the best i made was a 9.02 in the 1/8th at 82 mph but id only raced at the track 4 or 5 times and was new to the whole deal i know my truck will do 8.5's or very close to it especially since guys trappin 78-79 mph are in the 8's, i may need a set of caltracs first though.

Kyle, I say leave at the last yellow light because by the time you see it and react to it, you will be leaving on green. That will help your RT.

You will just have to practice your launch. Since you haven't been to the track a lot, it will take a few times to figure out the clutch's friction point. This will be different on DRs or slicks from your street tires. It will just take some time and practice. How strong is your clutch? Will it hold if you leave at 4k RPMs with slicks?
