    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    O ok got a budy who claims all tahoes r n he is thinking about switching his out for a tahoes he has a tru trac so I told him ill buy his tru trac off him lol

    G80 was an option, not standard equipment. Doesn't matter if 2 or 4 wheel drive, still an option. Have him check his SPID label in his glove box.

    tahoes had a slightly different setup in rear. Sway bars, etc. Not 100% sure it's a direct swap.

    Well he has money 2 spend so ima just wait n c wht he does is there a g80 for the silvy or has anyone heardof spider gears my friend mentioned it once 2 me didn't understand the concept of the spider gears with locker

    The original Eaton posi-traction diffs have spider gears. The 10.5" has a weird 3-pinion set-up.

    Yep there is a G80 for the Silverado, it gets called a G80 because that is the code that is in the glove-box saying you have a LSD
