    Need some help please

I have an 06 GMC Sierra, I am needing some help with getting the correct sizing of slicks and rims for the track for my truck. I currently have VHO rims with 275 55 20 tires on the truck. If anyone knows what size slicks and rims I need to get, please let me know. Thanks

Man its not worth gettin slicks for the VHO wheels. My truck came with those wheels and they are way too heavy to have slicks. Your better off getting some 16in spare tire wheels, or even better aluminum stock 16's. Im running the aluminum 16's with some short 27-10.5-16 MT Streets. So far I get a dead hook every pass. Hope this helps man

Oh I would try selling the VHO rims if you dont run them on the street and they are just sittin around. I got $600 for mine w/out tires, then you would have more money to shop around for lightwieght wheel/slick combo. Good luck man

This truck is a daily driver, the VHO's are my regular tires and rims. I am trying to decide what size rims and slicks I need to buy to be closely matched to the front overall tire height.

Well, my old VHO's were over 55lbs without tires. Look around for some 16's if you can get a full set it would be awesome. They will make a big difference in et's, since they are so light. If you try to match your 275-45-20 size then your gonna need a tall slick, about a 29-30in. Try craigslist or your local paper there are tons of people tryin to sell their factory wheels.

Front- stock 16in tire size... not sure

Back- I run a 27-10.5-16 but alot of people run 28's - 29's. Ive had good luck with the 27's it makes the truck feel like I put in some gears lol

You should really tune for the new tire size. Your shift points will be all over the place.

Thats why I am trying to get a proper rim and slick size. I want to get as close to my current size as possible.
