    mustang GT..

    how fast can a new mustang GT can run?
    Is there a chance I can beat one? (I have LT's instead of the shorties and ORY..)

    I say do it!! Id try him from a 30-40mph roll. You may suprise him. I seen those things run on average like low to mid 14s

    He will probably beat you... but it will be too close for his liking. You may even beat him by a nose. I would do a roll race.

    Not from a dig? Cause I bet he will spin tires at the beginning, by that time my 4wd launch will helped me a bit.. What you think buds?

    if you had a stall and a cam you would own him from either. But being you have 4wd lauch you may be lucky to come out close to even. Those things are pretty quick.

    march I'll trow in a tvs1900, cam and stall.. Or at least those are the plans..

    any 05+ GT SHOULD run in the 13's...but there are some that wont as I witnessed at the track recently.

    Basically they are a low 14 sec car either way you cut it. Your truck right now is probably a high 14 sec truck. I would look into a good street cam and at least a 2600 stall. they come stock with i think 1800 stall range. you put a good torquey cam with a lower rpm range with a 2600 stall and lauch it. you should be able to eat a gt then.
    EDIT: and thats without the s/c

    My friend has a Roush 05 stage 1 (a GT with some appearance stuff). His best at the track with no wheel spin was 14.8 @ 98mph. This car is stock. I don't know if a better driver can get more out of one or not.
