    What to get

Ok so as some of you know Im building a 6.0. I want to hear some suggestions as to what pistons and rods to run, a good "cheap" 243 head, and really anything you have. I wanna run N/A for a while till I can get the money to put around 15lbs of boost into it. Im on a budget to some extent....I am willing to pay good money for good parts...but I do kinda want to keep the price down as much as I can.

    Thanks guys.

building a motor NA then thinking of going boost is two different beasts. You need to have a realistic goal in mind and if you on a budget you need to stick to it. building a LS motor to compete with others a budget is out of the picture.

    ^^+1^^

Theres only so much you can do to a motor while having a turbo, the cam cannot be too extreme as well. Turbo 6.0s do put down good #'s though

get a good cam for NA then when you have the money for boost, pull the cam, sell it, buy one thats good for boost just a thought, get forged pistons and connecting rods too.

wont work like that. you need to set a solid plan for the motor first. a boosted motor NA is a dog, a NA motor then goes to boost is limited to boost unless you run race fuel
