Thread: Crap happens.

    Crap happens.

Well I was putting the new bed together last night. I had a friend order it from Ashley furniture direct. Saved $1400.00 I thought. I got all the part numbers direct from Ashleys showroom. One of the sales people gave me the numbers for the stuff we wanted. So we went to my buddy and he ordered it. I start putting everything together and it just does not fit together. Right as I am cussing cause I realize the salesman gave us the wrong bed rail numbers, the closet rack collapses. My wife had crammed the thing slamm full and then piled stuff on the shelf above it. Talk about wanting to bang your head into the wall. I have to reorder bedrails ....another $150.00 that could have been on the truck. Not to mention spend a hundred bucks on new closet crap that is sturdier than the old stuff which was junk to begin with. Gotta rebuild the whole dam closet shelving system and hanging system. Just what I wanted to do last night and today.

What a weekend. I unpack one of the 2 five hundred dollar night stands and the basterd is broke busted f'ed up. The drawer supports are broken as well as the back of one of the drawers. The box looked fine on that thing.:wtf:

Gonna go unpack the other one to see if it is OK. I sure hope so. Still have a dresser and mirror to unpack.

I wonder why you got a deal.....maybe he knew they had mess up crap and wanted to unload it on some unexpecting individual...
Sorry about how crappy this weekend has been mayne...but think about it...it could be worse.
