    G80 -> Detroit True trac

    All right.. I think is about time to change my G80... From what I've been told, the "detroit true trac" is the way to go.. I just need to know, what kind of setup do I need for my front diferential??

    For the back is it the 10 Bolt 8.5" 30 spline??
    How about the front??? I have no clue on that one..

    Thanks!!

    Rear is 8.5 30-spline. Front is 8.25 but I'm not sure there are many perfomance parts for it. Maybe Virgil knows?

    nope not really any perf for the front that i have found, but i promise you more then likely wont break the front, the rear takes most of the beating anyways

    I wouldn't worry about the front one. Just leave it alone.

    If you absolutley want something for the front the only performance front diff parts ive heard of is arb makes airlockers for the gm front independent diffs and I think ox is coming out with one to but not sure these are more for the off road trucks not sure how well they work on the street

    yeah, the thing is that I do a lot of sand drag racing.. and I choose wrong my gears, cause everytime I floor it.. the truck just diigs on the sand, and then it start going... thats why Im trying to get something for my front end... so that I would have more traction on the sand.. I think 4.10's are a little high for sand racing.. I might need to get some bigger tires, cause Im running 31's
