    Test Drove an 09' Dodge Ram Today!

    Well after trading my 04' DR 4x4 for a 08' Dr 4x2 in July......I got the itch for getting the new 09'

    The trk I looked at was 4x2 crew cab with Hemi. I was really impressed with the engine It is alot more responsive than my 04' Hemi ever was. Real roomy too. And the grill does not come up with the hood finally! Exh. sounded good!

    Price was not impressive 38k so i think Im gonna look at getting an 08 QC diesel instead and with the deals that are going on. Should get one for less than 30k or get my wife her SUV she's always wanted....TBSS!!

    I miss my 00 DR Sport RCSB. 360, 3'' BL lift, leveling kit, and 35's with straight pipe. Nothing beats havin the solid front axle when you in the mud. Smoked several HEMI's with stock 3.55's and 35's. Tho the posi did break and caused 5 teeth to break off ring gear. Sure the mud didn't help either. I'm lookin forward to 2010 1/2 ton 4.5 DMax myself. If you could get that in a RCSB, 300 HP, 500 FT. TQ. one word, WOW!

    Get your wife a TBSS... You will get to drive it occasionally too, You'll love it. 09' will be the last year for the TBSS also.

    I don't understand why gm is gonna stop maikng the TB/envoy/saabs version/isuzus version, thats all you see on the damn rode. I dunno, whats gonna replace it, gotta have some kind of midsize

    Thank goodness it means the end for all GMT370's....the Vega of the 2000's...

    I made money off their sorriness for a while but when most of them are out of warranty, they disappear from the dealer shops....

    Yeah, that new Hemi has some decent power. Some us are gunna have to be on the lookout.

    Good call on not buying the 1/2 ton. Good choice on getting a Cummins and the wifey a TBSS. Nice combo.

    And yeah--I am gunna be in line for the 2010.5 1/2 ton DMax too!

    Gave my sh!t talking buddy and his NEW DR Hemi 3 lengths and the move. When I was hitting 2nd gear and wheel hopping as I went by him.....he frowned.

    They are just like the tundra's....too much TQ management. My little 5.3 with no cam or TC is still kicking a$$. And if it won't do the job....I gots 2 more that will.
