    Question ?Corvette servo= Retune

    When I got my tune I told nelson I wanted hard shifts and now I'm wanting even harder shifts. I saw that I can get them for $14 at OPT. The ? is will it put to much strain on my tranny if I get them? But I'm not wanting to hassle with sending PCM to get retuned then having to fight with stealership to get crank relearn!!!!

    I am told that the servos help extend the life of the tranny
    Name: Mark,
    God created turbo lag so nitrous trucks could have a chance.

    That's what I thought, but because my shiftpressure was bumped up in my PCM if it would be too much pressure with the servos?

    [quote=06 4.8;178864]When I ... sending PCM quote]

    If you like hard shifts, you might want to go ahead and install the servo.
    If the truck isn't shifting hard enough right now, then it'll shift pretty good when the servo is in.
    Everyone says to put the stock line pressure back in the pcm, but in some cases, it's ok to raise the shift pressure to get the desired result.
    For example, I have a FLT 5 80e in my truck, I had to raise line pressure to my liking.

    If you put the servo in and it's way too hard, then drive it easy and give us a call to get a retune out to you.
