I was able to get out to the Snap-on sponsored race yesterday, may 4th, and it was fun. Lots of racers showed up , but not many spectators. It was real nice. It was very humid and hot all day.

I broke out on my first run in bracket racing. What a drag, but something good did come out of it.

I dialed in at a 14.05 just to make sure i had some to play with , and after only having one trial run and adjusting my pcm some more, I broke out with a 13.8. I noticed the rustang was far behind me, what else is new, hahah, so i let off about 200ft before the light just to make sure and i still ran a 13.8, so i think if i would have stayed in it, a 13.6 would have happend. Man did i under estimate the run.

GMCwantsLS1 was also out there. We had a great time. Joe from Armstrong Automotive ran a 12.7 in his lx stang. Not bad at all.

    see ya online,

Ya, sure was, it was a lot better than i thought.

Something funny as... The Snap-on dealers raced their tool trucks, there was about eight of them, hilarious!!! :lmao:

The slowest vehicle out there was this older square type ext. cab s-10, it ran a 22.8 second run at 58mph!!! :lmao: that was some funny sht. So, 0-60 in 22seconds, hahahha

Unfortunately, i didn't have the camera, not like it would record that long, hahahah

    thanks guys,

    allen

Unfortunately I have never been to the track. I have always wanted to go, even just to watch. I have never had anyone to go with.

Allen made a great run against a "L" too. I think it made the guy mad, I saw him after that run and he didn't wave back just looked straight ahead and ignored me hahaha!!! The spectators where I was kept saying " look how fast that truck is" and "he whooped that mustang". It was great fun and thank you Allen for the sodas.

I hope by next year I can be on my way to building myself an LS1 motor. I think I want to take my time though and start from bottom up.
