I wonder who has the fastest production truck as of now. Not some exotic truck but the fasterst mass produced truck. I hate to say it but is it the L?

I can't wait for the RC Silverado to come out, at least i hope it does, that will eat it up.

oh, btw, I'm the first to post, hahahahahah

that would be SRT-10. 505ci, 500hp, 500+ ft bs. tq. i've seen stock 1/4mi times(estimated@) 12.9@~106 and 13.6 @~104 either way, its safe to say at the end of '03 the L will no longer be the most powerful/fastest production truck available

I read in Truckin mag that at one of the recent car shows I think SEMA they had the production version of the SRT-10. So it looks like this truck is going to come out. If you have seen the any recent pictures of the truck, truckin showed a picture that they traded the bed cover for a spoiler/wing . Dodge says this will help keep the rear end down at high speed over 100mph. I think it looks gay. I hope (probably not) that chevy will bring out the RC SS.

its been labeled a production vehicle for over a year now. i think they started making some in january, just not releasing them til late 03' as an 04' model(August?)

I know, but this was the first time they have show it in full production form with no bed cover and the added wing.

Looks like i'll have to mod the ls1 a little more,

what happens to that v10 once truck buyers start putting that supercharger and nos on them, watch out, hahahah

oh well, at least i'll be fast than most of the trucks out there.

We will just have to wait and see. Doesn't the Z06 run pretty well with the viper or am I just . I think that dodge will end up having problems with losing power through the drivetrain and it just looks so big and heavy. And maybe it won't have room to fit a supercharger, just wishful thinking. I wonder what dodge vehicle they will have to loose to compensate for to huge gas guzzlers.
