Well I need to sell my 99 blazer which shouldn’t be to hard I hope because alot of people around here like then, and mine is in great shape since I’m obsessive about cleaning it. I detail it every weekend. And I’m replacing it with a 2000 z71 silverado. It does have a few more miles than the blazer but I’m willing to deal with that for all the extra potential of the v8. And the leather seats.

Awesome! Congrats. You will love it! Is the Burban 2WD? Is the 2000 Z71 going to be an ECSB or RCSB? What motor? Color? Etc....

the burban is black with 22's magnacharger, 6psi, snow stage 2 meth injection 50/50, super chips, although i reeeealy want a nelson tune, flowmaster 2 in one out. the silverado is a kinda maroon color, z71, lt, 5.3, loaded. completly stock right now but i want to take it as far as possible with out a supercharger. but i have been thinking about upgrading the burban to a radix, and slappin the side mount on my silvy. but thats down the road.

how do you fare against the hemi and ford guys, im not all about racing but if someone needs a lesson in ls1 power i plan on teachin them a thinkg or two. i want to start right off with a nelson tune, long tube headers, cold air intake, and BBK TB. maybe before i even switch the tags over. im tired of these hemi guys thinking they run the show over here. and although the burban is strong its also real heavy.

Damn, your Suburban sounds pretty sweet! Dude, scrap that Superchips and do the Nelson tune---it will be a big difference!

Ahhh, those Ford guys ain't crap...except for a few of those Harley Davidson crew cabs and, of course, the Lightnings. Almost every Lightning is modded these days, but if you go ahead and do every mod NA, you should run a Lightning in the Silvy. The Dodge boys aren't bringing that much either, but I wouldn't run a HEMI until you do a tune, LTs, ORY, CAI and BBK. If you want a list of mods to do NA, look at my sig and a few others to get an idea. The only other mods (NA) that I plan on doing is a converter, tranny build, and a nice set of heads. Just make sure that you plan ahead when doing mods...if you plan on going FI or stay NA, get the supporting components to do that.
