I dont plan on doing this yet but just an idea that i have been throwning around in my head. So here goes.

I have a 99 mitsubishi mirage. It is base model. No power anything. The part i have a question about is not so much the physical trying to fit the ls1 and trani in the car. The question i have is about the Body control module and the computer from the ls1.

Do yall think it is possible to hook the 2 systems together?
All i need to be able to do is start it and drive it. I dont know about this but cant i use an aftermarkey speedo, odomoeter, fuel guage, battery meter, and temp. Cant i just wire those guages into the computer. This was going to be my plan if i am going to do it. I am going to find a totaled camaro and use it for parts. Replace the suspension for the camaro and so on.

Mitsubishi is made by chrysler so why not throw a hemi in it? I love GM but it would probably be easier, the ls1 would be great though!

IMHO, I wouldn't even waste my time. It would be a waste of a great motor in a shitty car.

Put an LS1 in your truck and you will have the 5.3L to put in something else. A Kit car would be awesome or a 32 3 window coupe. A little deuce coupe with an LS motor would be bad ass and add a turbo and bamm one bad ass car.
