4.8 with a stock 6.0 cam
Would like some help with this. The wife's 5.3 has cracked heads was going to just change out the heads but at 250k why. I have a 4.8 with 40k on it was going to put a stock 6.0 cam in it. Would this work and would I have to change anything else? Thanks

Depends on the year of the engines, earlier have three bolts and later have one bolt. But why would you want change a stock 4.8L cam to a stock 6.0L cam...the specs are so close you would not be able to tell any difference in performance or sound. I can see maybe swapping in an LS6 cam, but... Is the 4.8 cam damaged?
