Hoke, I was really impressed with the truck. No rust to speak of. We did make some tiny dents while pulling the bed, dang it.
Super, it can be like the blind leading the blind, Lol I have read that I need a 94 dash to have a speedometer and tach. I am sure there are write ups about it maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Getting a little more done. I got the rear end installed, replaced the wheel cylinders and bled the brakes.

I picked up some tires off of Ebay for 140 for the whole set brand new. We cleaned all the old clear coating off of the wheels and painted them silver and black. Set the bed back on. Looks good but I will need to drop it a little more, cant really even tell I dropped the rear 2 inches.

I am getting the truck ready to get inspected. These days in Texas the will not issue tags until you get a inspection sticker. High beam headlight is out. Looks to be low on fluid.

Horn doesnt work. Found the blinker cancel cam broken. No biggie but I gotta pull the wheel off. Always something. ;)

Cool passed inspection. I had to drive 10 miles to get to the station. Steering is wasted. Keeping her out of the ditch was a chore. Found bad idler arm and pitman arm has 1/2 inch of play. Back to work.

Good job so far. The truck looks good.

Replaced the pitman arm and the idler arm. As I pulled it apart the tie rods ends almost fell out of their socket. Replaced those as well. Steering is better but still needs work. At least its not a ditch magnet now. Lol

New belltech shocks all around and man did it need them. 3 were completely blown out and the rear pass was frozen solid. It drives like a truck now!
Sold the drivetrain last night. I will start pulling it today and then the conversion starts. Probably wont get much done this weekend, we have a huge storm heading this way.

Engine and trans are gone! Now to clean up the engine compartment and get ready to set the new one.

Pulled the front end to make things easier.

I set the 2014 radiator in place and it fits like a glove. I will have to trim the sheet metal in front as the core is wider.

The fans and hoses fit as well. That is going to make my job easier.

Your truck is in great shape. I'll be watching your build. Good luck.
