Jethro and I did the servo about 4 or 5 months after i actually bought my truck, and I could tell a big difference. The truck seemed to just shift so much better, and pack a better punch. Then i got a tune and made the shifts even sweeter.

i put it in my truck and i can feel the change, even more when i turn on the tow/haul button. its worth it and for $10. dont pass it up
with the vette servo and tune i can bark the tires at half throttle... no shift kit.
ok what about mpg wise will it raise it or lower the miles per gallon

My mileage stayed the same. Get it, it works badass. It gives more of a kick back when you shift. I got mine for $30 installed their in Sullivan. When your racing and a truck has it, u can actually see the truck jump foward when it shifts. Jazz was right next to me, and i would be able to see his truck jump foward when it shifted.
Since you are on the subject..
How much will it mess with my tranny with the stock tuning??
Im getting a built tranny(4L60e) and a Yank TT3000, will my truck be ok for a lil while without tune ??
Both servos I installed after the first tune so it definitely made my shifts harder/tighter. I would expect the same to a stock tune
what about getting just a vette servo and billet od servo installed? how would that effect driveability? will i need to install a shift kit with the od servo?
I would definately say do it. With the tune and the shift kit, I actually could chirp my tires from 1-2, but that happened on a rare occasion.
would the vette servo do much by its self.....i want one where can u buy one at?
This is where I got mine. http://www.transmissioncenter.net/

Mr. P.
Get the vette servo, the billet or sonnax servo is just too much with a stock stall converter. I should know, it beats you to hell until a higher stall is installed.
later,
allen
I have a Vette servo in mine but i also have a built trans with shift kit and stall. My first tranny bit the dust not too long after I installed the Servo. But the first tranny had over 148000 miles on it ..
