most of them go 12-13 stock. 40 in a gasser is attainable with the right gearing.
why on earth would you want to beef up a golf cart. Do you want to piss off the golfers by doing a burn out down the cart path. <--"Actually that would be funny"> Go for it. I want to see pics of the golfs throwing there clubs when you do that.
Ever ridden in a cart that fast? It is scarry as hell!
the answer is yes. piss off everyone is the idea.
I got my ridin Lawn Mower to hit 30mph just from exaust and changin the pulleys around.
It hauls
Good luck with the golfcart.

Don't think they'd let me drive that one on the course. I got one comin'. Will have it this weekend. 2003 Club Car w/ Aluminum frame and upgraded "speed" package. Supposed to go 24-26 mph. We'll see.
Sweet idea!! That lifted one is fuggin bad! Make sure you get an electric cooler for 12 of your friends!
I didn't see many prices mentioned. If you keep in touch with local courses, they can advise you when they are ready to sell off carts. Some places lease however. Anyway, my gas powered ClubCar was $800 about 5 years ago, and I have done nothing to it, but fill the tank. It becomes lost in a snow drift every winter, and starts right up every spring. It is most handy for towing my projects around the yard when my wife say "move-it". I will try and post a pic with my large butt hanging off the back. - MV
