Welcome
When are you planning to install your cam? Are you going to dyno it before and after you get it install to see the gain? I would like to know the differance.
Welcome!!

Odelay...
Hey, glad to see you made it over here, you have a pm btw, hehe.
That cam seems small, but it makes a huge difference.
add that to some custom programming and your truck will be flying.
later,
allen
 welcome
I plan on getting the cam in after the New Years holidays. I've been emailing back and forth with Allen from Nelson Performance to get the job done. I'll more than likely just have the cam and springs put in and dyno it after the install. I guess it depends on how much it will cost each run. I've heard from alot of different people saying the cam should make 30 rwhp with the HPPIII and 35 or more with the edit tune. I'll have to wait till I save some more :twocents:'s for that edit tune. I'll have to get a better digital camera for some more pictures. I would love to get one of my truck pulling out of a nice smokey burnout. :thumb:Quote:

Welcome here, hopefully I will get my truck tuned tomorrow also! Yay!
:thumb: Whats up everyone. Nelson performance recommended this site to me. Sounds great. I only have a 01 silverado stocker, 4800, by the way is my motor based on the LS1? . Uses will be daily driver/ towing dragbike trailer. Any performance tips will be appreciated!
Kev
Yes your engine is based on the LS1! Welcome!
 Thanx. I Love this Silverado. My previous I just traded for last week was a 97 Sierra. Good ride too & missed the torque at 330 lbs. New Chevy is "rated" 285 lbs. I can tell the thing has more HP over the Sierra. But these new silverado's are really nice. My wife asked me jokingly if the sec. center tells about low washer fluid.....Well I found out it does :thumb: All the truck has is Tokonsha brake controller & a set of Alpine nurf rails. Would like to get a pic over here for avatar soon. Plus it took a day or 2 to take a serious liking to the sunset gold met. paint. Now it looks great I guess :nutz: Well see ya in forums
