I think I won the trophy for slow when I had two nitrous backfires in the intake. :laugh:
Bent the throttle blade in the intake into a c-shape instead of flat. Killed numbers 7 and 8 spark plugs and now it sounds like the TQ convertor is making odd noises. :thumbdown:

Yeah, pissed my other half off but she don't understand stuff happens. It's a damn good thing she's not related to STSSilverado, poor guy would be in the dog house something awful.

Oh yeah, Thanks go out to Jeff for the hose clamp. The backfire blew my intake hose off and the hose clamp fell off on the track somewhere.

Looks like I may have holed a piston in the number 7 cylinder. Zero compression going on in there right now. I'll have to pull the head to see what I did to it. It drove home under it's own power so that's always a plus.
Dayyyuuum. Seldom have I seen that happen without lots of fuego. Lol

BTW, pulled the heads and found a bent intake valve. All else is good. Now, Hummertech, got any 243 heads laying around there somewhere? Hint Hint Nudge Nudge :smile:

Yeah sounds like it's time for you to try out some of those new Dart heads and let us know if they're any good. :smile: Is the head itself damaged or is it just a bent valve?
The Dart heads are about $700 each. Hell, I don't have $700 to spend on a pair of heads. :laugh:

I think I was in front of Red Heartbeat being last. My times sucked although I have never raced this truck. The track was slippery and humpy. I raced a ricer with a turbo and he beat me by .0645. Damn I was mad. I have a stall and will be getting Allen to do some mods for sure now. From a role my truck is fast, but off the line it's slow. The stock stall only stalls up to 1400-1500 rpms :help: . Damn ricers! I did meet some of you guys and had a good time :hshake: . I'm glad redheartbeat got home :thumb: . I started to worry the second time it backfired after he had fixed it :eek: .
I like the 83 Chevy with the LS1 (GMWANTLS1) motor in it. That will be the kind of setup I will go so no one will no whats going on. Great sleeper! In all had fun. Allen I will be calling you soon, Damn ricers! I guess I will have to venture down to S A Raceway, b/c I heard the track is better?
