wow that thing is so fast for an ave. nice job man
first run was a 1500 launch and spun bad...got outta it and spun again...ran a 15.4 at 98.3 mph
2nd run was a 1000 launch in the other lane and it spun only bout 10' and hooked up good....13.73 at 100.5....not bad for a 5850 lb truck :cool:

Bolted the trans in tonight. Tomorrow I plumb in the new cooler and spin-on filter for the trans and test out my transmission building skills again. Then it's time to go out and try to break it again. Next time it gets blue plate specials and 4L65E 3-4 clutches instead of stock BorgWarners.

How did you launch it? Even with the techniques you used I still can't make mine hook at all. I think my best 60" is around 2.2
What size of tires are you running?

31" tires and pushing 5850 pounds...i just got it to hook up once ...the other time it just spun thru the 1/8th...

I've been practicing my launches in my driveway....its barely long enough! lol I have found I'm probably gonna have to launch at 1000, I tried 1500 and its spins too much....
