I'm just saying hi, I've read a lot on this board and already learned a lot, but I've got some questions of my own to ask. I'm 20 years old going for my mechanical engineering degree at Bradley. I've beend around f-bodies since I was 15 and have done several LT4 hotcam kits with/for friends, one LS1 cam, and too many tranys to remember. Any way thanks in advance for any info. Later, Kyle.

is the duramax stock or tuned? what you gonna do to beat it? they are bad but are heavy and ive seen them only run mid 15s in the qtr with those edge or banks with exhaust, but that is doin good for that big of a truck.

By brother's Duramax is an 01, right now all he has is the muffler has been eliminated, swiss cheesed airbox and a Superchips 90 hp tune. But he just ordered the Edge Juice and Attitude monitor (150 hp), and will be getting full exhaust and intake systems soon. That setup should get him a high 14 if he can keep his trans from going into limp mode. I'm planning on a Z06 cam, Pace Setter LT's, custom x-pipe duals, CAI, and tune...possibly 4.11's and a 3200 stall. Think I can beat him? Oh yea, I also have a Nitrous Works kit sitting in my room... ya know... just in case. :devil:Quote:
