I'd buy one, as long as it's FAST!
Looks like a dodge product to me. It's definitely tough looking but it needs something to show some GM history.
I don't like the rear.
They'll not put enough "GO" into it. I'd bet they'll power it with a 5.3 or maybe the stinkin Colorado 5 cyl. They never go big enough. I'd want the 7.0/427 minimim. THEN I'd sell the truck and buy one.... maybe.
Z28 should come with the standard 6.0l LS2 then the SS with something else...hopefully
You know what they'll do, 4.3L in the base model and 6.0 LS2 in the SS but it will be down about 20 hp from the corvette so not to compete in base form. The aftermarket will bring swaps with a 7L.
You can buy one and build up a LS454 with one of World Product's new LS1 aluminum blocks. Those are going to be bad-ass for a basis for big cube engine builds!
:tantrum: but i disagree with the 4.3l...that will most likely not be in anything but the 6 cyl version. There was talk about a ls9 5.7 DOD motor offered but i personally do not want DOD, just more shit to take off/disable when you tune it
You know they have to build a base model 6 cyl to compete with the mustang 6 cyl entry level car. The DOD engines are supposed to be sweet but I don't want one either. They just don't belong in a HP vehicle.
 maybe they will offer the SS with the LS7..
man that is a funny ass avatar..i laughed my ass of and dropped my chicken strips. :thumb:Quote:

I've got a pic but afraid to post it. Also have the pics posted awhile back that got several sites in hot water.
i have the pics that got alot of sites in hot water too. they have confidential stamped across them lol. i would mail em out but they're on my other computer. this was posted at performancetruck. http://truck.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=356177
How's this for ugly?
http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/01/07/det...ncept-revealed/
I got all of the pics. They don't look that bad. The exhaust tips on the green one looks different. It's all about change, rememebr when GM introduced the 88 truck body style? It was contraversial back then, now it's one of the most sought body styles out there.
As far as thepictures being leaked, it's too late now! Most everyone has seen them so why not go ahead and post them?
:twocents:
i woudlnt say ugly jus ..not realistic.
Here's a pic....concept camaro
wheres the hugger orange with stripes?!
go to chevrolet.com and ckeck out performance vehicle and u can see several pics
and specs.
Just saw a rolling video of one on a local news channel. It IS that ugly one that red posted. Looks like a dodge charger to me. guess I'll keep my '67 and put an ls1 in it.
There would never be a decision to be made between a 67-69 or a retro car in my mind. The 67-69 is just pure classic to me. Now that they are making new 67-69 tubs the 1st gen Camaro are going to be more valuable than ever.

ima have to agree, the finished product will only resemble the concept! it WILL look badass, and the concept still looks better than the new 05 stang :nutz:
