does anyone make a ypipe that has no cats that will directly replace stock????
order me one if you find it.
I have lost the link bit you can order right from GM, it has a part number and everything, a Y pipe with no cats that they use in their overseas vehicles. It was like $200 or so. But like I said, no link so I'm not of much help. At least you now know they exist.
cool yeah i def wanna get one if anyone has any mopre info on this let me know
Pulled this from Performancetrucks.net

The passenger rear O2 seems to be a problem, but why would you buy a Y pipe and install rear O2's, so it wasn't a problem, just put the plug in the bung. The front passenger O2 is very tight fitting, it will hit the firewall until you screw it in all the way. So, get you pipe fitted up there, install the O2, then bolt it to the manifold.
They do supply O2 plugs for the rear and front, so that's nice.
The Ball and socket joint, whatever it's called, where the end of the ypipe meeds the catback portion of the exhaust, doesn't seal as good as it should. I got a small exhaust leak there and have the bolts tightened up as much as they can, without bending it.
Overall, a good piece to buy that is mandrel bent, free flowing, has all the gaskets you need and hardware.
My opinion, it's worth the $200, a lot easier than making one.
got get you one,
allen

it's just mild tubing, looks like aluminized tubing, so it should look nice for a while.Quote:

notice the tight fit on the passenger side pipe for the O2.
