Ebay or autometer makes one.
thanks for the reply.... looking for a part #,,,, ended up finding what I needed on ebay....
I've read tons of places that you can just wire in the LS pigtail and use the LS sensor for the Vortec 96+ OBS gauge since the LS PCM doesn't care about oil pressure. I wired in mine last night, so I guess I'm about to find out. lol.
The plugs were physically the same between the LS and Vortec pressure sensors on my engine. The difference being no back up fuel pump power on the LS. I do notice that the pressure reading on my dash runs between 40 PSI idle to 80 PSI WOT. That doesn't seem correct to me, and it's been that way between ls engines.
That's some good info to know for future reference..thanks for sharing the knowledge
This is what I'm stuck on right now with my swap, can you give me some details? To make things more complicated on myself I decided to swap a 1998 dash into my 1991 to go along with the LS3/TR6060 swap so I piicked up the sender and pigtail from a 1998 and was going to try to wire that in but the LS3 sender is bigger than the truck one so I started looking for an adapter, from what I found I believe I need a M16x1.5 to M12x1.5 but can't find one.
Appreciate any info you can give me, also picked up the 3 wire coolant temp sensor and pigtail so gonna tackle that today.

Rock,,, you need this .. It will allow you to reuse the oil pressure sensor from your old motor.... swapping the 98 dash definitely add some complication to things...

That's the same sensor I used. Just went to the local parts store and they had an adapter to make that work on my ls engine.
The engine was a 1991, no vortec, I couldn't find anyone that had anything that would work, picked up Autometer #2268 that is 16x1.5 with an 1/8NPT tapped hole figuring I could drill/tap it to fit the sensor if need be. I'm going to ask a dumb question (seems too easy so it'll probably never work) before I drill a hole in a $13 piece of brass, any reason you can't just tap the tan wire off the stock LS3 sensor to the tan wire going to the gauge and get it to work?

Awesome, I'm gonna try that first and hang on to the adapter if I need it. I figured it'd be too easy there would be no way it would work. Thanks for the info, I'll definitely follow up if it works.

Well the gauge is pegged all the way to the max and it does move some (but not much) when I turn it over but it doesn't reset back to 0, any ideas? Also, seems like the VATS wasn't turned off like it was supposed to be when I had the computer tuned because I tried to fire it and it starts, runs for a second and dies. But it did run so that's promising and with just headers it's loud as hell.

Just a follow up, I ended up picking up a brass adapter from the local parts store and drilling/tapping it for 1/2"NPT to get the 98 sensor to thread into the head on the engine, just connected the 1 tan wire to the gauge and it works like a champ. I just capped the orange and gray (?) wire coming off the pigtail and I'll just pull the wires going to the computer since the engine doesn't seem to care if it's not getting a signal.
