Just trying to get a base line idea of tire psi for the upcoming track day. What are you scsb guys running for psi on your DR's for maximum bite? And are your wheels screwed or not? My tire is 295/65/15 MT

id put 30lbs in them and let them sit for a couple days, then when at the track drop them to 20lbs and make small drops until you get good bite, then stop!
I'm running 23 psi on the street. I drop to about 12-15 for the track. I'm running ET streets. I agree with sneeky, just drop a pound or two at a time and find the right pressure for your setup.
But i am very curious to what other people are running. Those are just the numbers that work for me. But my truck is also very squirrely at speed. I really should take those things off haha
alot has to do with rim size for that given tire
so need to know the rim width first
My setup is acting funny. Et streets (bias ply) on 15x8 wheels. Tires are 12.5x28 and my truck always makes about a half rotation then hooks. Haven't been able to get it to work right yet. 14lbs seems to work the best for me.
Oh and 1.9 60's suck!
Too wide of a slick for rim size. You'll never use that tire properly... A 12.5 tire needs 10" minimal to get an ideal contact patch
I'm running 15x10 and 15x6 for track setup

yea i know theyre too wide but hey I got em for practically nothing so ehhhh... I want to get 15x10's but everyone wants an arm and a leg for them
Yea I looked into them. Just the 15x8's are 24lbs a piece so I went with them.just an Excuse to upgrade and get some really nice quality stuff.
Same tires i ran back in the day, ran at the track 14psi 1.6 60' and bout 20 21 psi on the street.
bogarts would be really nice. im debating what route I should take. I might go to a 5X4.75 pattern with something different, but I would never be able to run the ss 20's again. too many decisions.
I plan on finding 20" WELD prostar a or Greg weld wheels or 20" torq thrust 2 wheels something like that.... But BOGARTS still look dope as shit
