Bottle pressure question
Can't seem to find anyone else that has asked this one... So I've run through about 5 bottles with my new NOS kit in about a month or two. I've got my fuel jet dialed in on a 150 and 200 shot at about 950 psi or so. So when the pressure is up around 1000 psi it's way lean on the wideband and when it's closer to 850-900 it's way fat. Yes I have a bottle warmer. So I'm wondering about two things. First is anybody changing their fuel jet according to how full the bottle is and how easy it is to keep pressure? And second, is it normal that my bottle drops at least 50-75 psi long before the 1/4 and fattens way up?

Idk ive never had a wideband lol

If you're runnin fat towards the end of the 1/4 you're leaving a lot of power on the table. What's your bottle pressure at the start compared to the finish?
-
Up your feed line size. I'm thinking you're at a -4 now? A 200 shot on a 10lb bottle will drop a shit ton of pressure in no time. The bigger feed line will help make up for it. Or go NANO.

But that does help, this seems to be a topic that is not discussed often.

I ran 2 15 pound bottles my pressure didn't drop.

Yeah that seems ideal. So do you just T both bottles into one line and turn em both on at the same time?

true, i would just purge it if the pressure was getting high

A high amount of pressure drop is usually due to the bottle being almost empty, or running a small bottle, go to 2 10lb bottles, or even 2 15lb bottles and it would almost eliminate the pressure drop you are seeing.

Ok thanks I'll be doing that next spring!
