wheel help!!!
Hey I have 1990 C1500 2wd. currently with 15*10.5*31in tire wheel combo. Wanting to do a new set up. And plan on lowering the truck later on. I Was thinking about doing a 17in or 18in wheel, i was thinking torq thrust but I'm having trouble finding a place to get them. Anyone know where to look or know another good wheel for this body style. And does anybody know the stock bolt diameter is?

Any old school torque thrust are going to be car sizes mainly. Maybe u can get repros's off jegs.
-
Hey man my friend has a rim shop and he said he can get the the torque thrust u want, said there's a bunch of diff wheels for your truck, PM me ill give u his number, he said he can ship em to

That truck is 5x5 pattern. TTII's are easy to come by in that pattern. That's what's on my 68(also 5x5). Summit Racing, Jegs, Newstalgia Wheel, or just about any wheel supplier should be able to get them for you. Also, check Craigslist. Always somebody selling used sets.
9.5" wheels fit good on the rear. 8" fit good for the front until you go any lower than 3" front drop, then they tend to rub, so if you plan to lower it that much or more, then plan to run a 7" wheel up front.
