I heard that some of the bigger Ford trucks come with the tru-cool 40k from the factory and that it can be purchased for about $100 at ford dealers. Anyone know if this is true and have a PN#? I think quik posted it on FSC.com

i dont view this site much or many LS sites anymore...too busy in the L world but yes the F250 trans cooler is the same as teh tru cool 40k. The part number is listed on lightningrodder.com
just about every lightning is using it
Bring the lightning to shootout lol
traitor
I chose the Ford Super Duty (F250) transmission cooler (XC3Z-7A095-CA). This is a really huge cooler (7" x 20") for only $100 (from fordpartsonline).
Its the same as the tru cool 40k
to be completely honest, the lightning is a far nicer truck to drive then the GMs. Its fun to drive with that much torque off idle, but tonight i finally pulled the silverado into the main garage to fix the miss ive had since may. [shes been sitting in the rear garage since then]
I hear ya. What do you like better about the L?
