Wow that thing is slicks cam and spray away from some very very fast times.

Went 8.6s on sh!tty tune, and the tb i believe is still stock one or his p&p ls1 one im not sure!

The truck came stock with drive by wire throttle body, call BS but, it came with traction control too.

May want to do some investigation into it...That's definitely a GenIII intake and TB. Not trying to be a jerk or anything but forte people interested in possibly buying it you may want to know more about it.

The truck def has a gen 4 5.3 block its out of the red truck that lsx did the ls3 swap in it.

Ok but he said its an entire Gen IV motor. Not just block, or short block, or long block.

The motor is gen VI, the intake and tb are stock. That should clarify.

Take a chill pill bro. I may not be interested in it but for the people who are when you say ITS A GEN IV MOTOR and its got a GEN III intake some may look at that as you are trying to be shady and get a little more money because of the newer motor. And no Im not saying thats what is being done. All I was doing is trying to have clarification for those people out there who are, or possibly could be interested. There are a lot of critical people out there and even more people who would lie about what's in it to get a little more cash. So what damage to you is it causing for someone to ask for clarification on an item someone would be spending a good chunk of money on??

You take a chill pill bro, its a gen4 ,5.3 no matter what intakes on it thats all that matters. Many know he blew the old 5.3 day before sar so he bought the 5.3 from lsx to help lsx out so they could buy hptuners when they got to san Antonio.

From a picture can you tell the difference between a Gen III and a Gen IV when installed? Not without an intake. Jesus H Christ man you need to step back and see things for what they are not assume everyone is out to get you. I was trying to help people who would be interested in buying a truck but may not be one of those that knew the story behind this particular truck, and I for one happened to be one that didn't know a damn thing about it.

This is my brothers truck i wouldn't let him lie either to anyone on here about it. You just assume the worst in every situation and ask oddball questions.

Good luck with the sale. Sounds like a solid setup. Sorry, had to join in on the tomfoolery though it was as useless as the rest of the bickering. Interior looks pretty clean. :thumb: Is that roll pan welded or bolted in? Any dents or dings in it beyond normal stone chips or parking lot door dings? Not sure if I saw it in SanAntonio. Is there a cover for the intake? Did you get in 1/4 mile times on it or make some dyno pulls to get power numbers?

It didnt make it to sar blew the old 5.3 day before we left. I went 8.6s in it before @kennebelly as fatal would call it lol.
Bolted in roll pan, we have extra covers laying around for the intake manifold as well. I have one off my old crew cab thats painted bermuda blue would probably look good on it.

Couple minor dings and a scratches and yes I have the cover for the intake and it no longer has the door trim but I kept it all also. The only thing I know that's wrong with the interior is the handle on the console but you can still get into it and the lumbar doesn't work on the seats. This truck is super fun to drive though
