My truck is 93 single cab short bed 2wd has been converted to 4wd solid axle front
In about 2 weeks it will have its very own ls motor 5.3 thumper cam Nelson harness and tune
A solid axle obs, sweet. :pics:
I love the axle swap work so much better . I have some pics I'll get them posted up as soon I figure out how
Info on the thumper cam? SAS will be sic!
Comp cams 54-600-11 .553 in 536 exh ls 109 I know it kind small
Also running 2800 stall and 513 gears with 37 in tires
Am I correct in saying that the 109lsa makes it very rough idle, why it's called a thumper?
Yes but I wouldn't call it rough but SWEET just saying its the hot rodder in me

Ok here a pic of her
Got a ? If I'm running the radiator from my obs where will the small hose coming off throttle body go
Are you talking about the steam port line?
Yes
simplest way is to put an adapter bung in the rad and plumb it back there.
I just drilled and tapped my thermostat housing and put a nipple on it. Works fine.
Just noticed that it's a passenger side drop. What transfer case did you swap to?
Thanks guys I was thinking tapping the water pump
Np241 out of a 88 Chevy suburban. If you taped at thermostat got any pics of location in front of or behind the thermostat
its better if you run it up instead of down. This is an older truck but the concept is the same.

Friend swap?
Well got the bottom end done today headers in converter bolted up and modified converter cover to fit. For got to slot the hole in the flex plate but this one has 3 sets of holes and bolted right up. Now the header are a different story used pacesetters long tubes fit wasn't to bad and after a strap and a torch they fit pretty good http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/...8/9e1f21fa.jpg http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/...8/1b86ea7e.jpg http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/...8/b476abed.jpg http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/...8/f0bf317a.jpg
Hey guy I got a problem with my swap. When started it idles very ruff what mean is it starts then has to chech up then idles fine when you give it gas and let it come back to an idle it almost dies and some times dose it is kinda hard to start after that what y'all think I will say I have one o2 sensor in right know driver side in passanger side plugged in but not in header. If you unplug the iac sensor what should it do mine dose nothing
There is a set screw on the throttlebody to adjust you idle.
anyone know why when in park it idles fine but when put in gear and it progessively get higher and higher
It was tuned by nelson so if there is a problem im sure they will take care of it as far as the IAC should it do some thing when pluged in and unpluged
Can you get a sound clip?
Thanks guys I'll get a sound clip in the morning got the exhaust done and o2 sensor in right know I'm running it with iac unplugged
