1996 2 door lsx swap...gotta let her go...

ok so the time has come. the truck i worked so har don for the last 4 months has to go. I have to leave the state and i cant take it with me because i dont have enough cash on hand to finish. need it gone by tuesday 24th..im asking 6k but ill take the first reasonable offer i get. heres the cl ad...but most of you on here have been following my build thread so you guys know all about it..

bad:
salvage title (theft recovery)
California plates
Driver door sags (needs new pin and bushing kit which i have but its not installed yet)
Needs exhaust finished (open headers right now)
New shifter cable needed (included just not installed)
a/c lines need to be custom made. but a/c compressor is brand new and so s the condenser
Needs touch up paint.


I need this truck gone by Tuesday. I have to leave the state and cant take it with me Asking 6k or best reasonable offer. Will also trade for another vehicle that i can drive across country and cash. i did all the work on the truck myself. you can read a complete build thread filled with pictures and details of everything that was done. very detailed shows every step of the conversion. all the new parts and when iinstalled them. this has been a 4 month project for me and i hate to see it go.

as you can see from some of he pictures a ton of work has gone into this truck. Front end was complete stripped down to the frame and cleaned up before the new engine went it. Truck can be driven home however its extremely loud with open headers. Im asking 6k OBO AS IS. I am also willing to finish the truck and sell it for 7k firm. You wont find another 2 door like this is Las Vegas, Custom a/c bracket with compressor alone was $600. Im in a rush to sell. Im accepting all reasonable offers.

yea man the jobs are here are ridiculous plus the person i moved out here with is a backstabbing whore slut face so my last stop is Lithonia georgia. I have a brother and sister out there so. Ran out of money to finish the truck and i have til the end of the month to get outta here. im pretty much going to take whatever i can get for it...ill regret it but its better than sleeping outside lol

trying to get a job out here drained my savings. i thought about that but the gas to even to drive that far plus to rent the truck, it would be out of my budget. my brother bought me a plane ticket.

If you sell the 20s you should have plenty cash to ship the truck to GA

I understand your need to sell... but seriously, look at ALL of your options first. Don't make any haste decisions you will regret in a few months. Afterall, at some point you're going to need a vehicle in GA. Wouldn't one you personally know every bolt and wire on be the best one to have? Best of luck with your future endeavors. Also, there is a website (don't recall it at the moment, but I could get it if you're interested) where you can post on what/where you want to ship and guys on the site will bid on the job. Someone here may know what I'm talking about.

You can ship stuff using uship.com it's a great way to find a great deal on shipping. In the mean time I am looking at summit, Jegs, etc for the best reasonably priced mufflers I can find. You need 2 3 in mufflers right?

Thanks guys for all the kind comments and stuff. i really got backed into a wall out here in the desert and my truck is really all i have left. Trust me when i say I really dont want to sell it. This site has been just awesome to me, i tripled my car knowledge on this site within a few months. I appreciate all the support guys..i mean like we are all perfect strangers brought together by the love of these machines. Im going to leave the ad up on CL mainly because cash would benefit me more at this point..i could always buy another car or truck with half the money from this sale. So i figure ill try to get the truck to GA then if i run out of cash out there i know i wont have any problems selling it there. once i get the pipes done i still have to figure out the trans issue. it still wont shift! Im going to borrow a scanner and see what codes its throwing. again thanks for all you guys support!

it was 1500+ to ship lol..better off trying to finish it and drive it.

Have you tried uship.com? They often go across the country for less than 800$.

that was on uship..henderson nevada to lithonia GA. cheapest i think was 1150. im working with like my last $1000 bucks.

did you check the 12v supply wire going to the transmission to see if it has voltage?

which wire would that be? i also noticed that when i re did my wiring harness i didnt hook up the transmission range signal wires (black, yellow,white grey) im going to hook them up and see if it helps. but i had them hooked up before and i was still having the same issue.

i been watching you build this truck for a long time now here because it's so much like my build was, i wouldn't sell my truck for 30k if i was offered. work all night on it and make it driveable if you got to, don't let it go, it's a beautiful build.

well when you get to GA you gotta have some mode of transportation it would be worth it to just get it shipped or drive it
