Tx2K ... The Red Dragon

I wanted to give some Props for a Good buddy of mine for coming down to TX2K and getting it done in a truck.. He even Caught up with the " Austin Roll Racing Group" LOL :LOL: 1320 video has not yet put the video out but it was taken from the "fastest TBSS in the world" I will make sure and get it posted as soon as i have it .. And before all the BS crap flys Truck is a 1994 Chevy 1500 370", single turbo, turbo 400 Circle d stall Stock leaf springs and 28" nitto tires. And I have told Justin he is more then welcome to come down anytime if you guys want some type of Re match 1320 video was following along when kurt ran a 1000hp Supra but then gets Beat down by 6 LENGTHS to 160??? 28's and Leaf springs TTMFF Attachment 6590Attachment 6591Attachment 6590

I was blowing spark out that night pretty bad! It ran alot better against the tbss than it did in this video :)

Coming from someone that doesn't like roll racing... Is you're truck ready yet Casey? I'd love to see you get drug by this truck as many did at this event that you were not at...

I was a 148ish trap this weekend and that wasn't enough obviously... I'm not ashamed at all... Not taking anything away from anyone but fact is... 1100+ hp at 3500ish+ lbs.? from a 60 roll and with 2 people in mine weighing about 4600ish+... Hmmmm... You really that big of a dolt Casey?

Justin knows I tried to drag him down so I could get a 1st gear roll 30-40mph... why wouldn't he do it?... maybe because leaf springs and 28's wouldn't hook... I don't know, words straight out of his mouth but you weren't there were you... until then, just keep bench racing from home buddy...

To purpleminivan the reason i didnt want to go from a low roll is because i came prepared for tx2k12 set up for roll racing. I am sure that i can get it to work from a dig or low roll just have to setup my c02 controller for that. I was just setup that weekend for a 50-60 roll. I am looking foward to getting to the track and working this thing out and seeing what i can do with it it should be a blast. And next time i am down i will race from whatever you want :)

I just got the combo done over the winter time and ready for texas have not been to the track yet. Going to start working on the track times trying to run some local drag radial class with it. My goal for this setup is 850 at 160+ we will see though should be fun trying to get it all to work!

I think that truck is going to do some serious damage on the track! You were making in the 700 range on that 5.3 and E85 before correct? The older videos that stangklr made?

on the old combo i made 821 with a locked conveter and i have all ready made 1200 this year on the new combo through a th400 with the old valve springs. I am thinking it feels closer to 1300 now! I think running 850 at the track would be an awesome goal to acomplish!

Man that is awesome! I think 8.50s are achievable with your weight and setup. Whats the suspension look like front and back? When do you think you will be able to hit the track?

props or respect? Is this coming from the guy that tells people wanting help that he has forgotten more about subjects than they will ever know or whatever? You want respect, think you lost that from a lot of members here a looooong time ago...I use to read through threads trying to learn and still do, but I had to learn very quickly what BS to decipher and what info to take along with me.

Will someone just permaban Casey already, the only thing he does for this site anymore is stir the Kurt and Jon pot. For someone that claims to have so much knowledge, you would think it would be put to good use adding some tech rather than bloat to the site.

Props... I gave him props that night (oh yeah, again you weren't there). 160?... NEVER have I said I trap 160... Justin can you verify this statement? I was dropping the 1320 guy off at his hotel right after the runs with the supra... Justin came running out to me asking if I wanted to run, I told him sure but I need a minute to cool off. Which was fine so he could run in and get ice for I/C yada yada. Limited setup lol. Keep making shlt up Casey... you're reaching dude. 2 and half years?... There are videos of my tbss at the track in Nov of 2008. I started the current setup I have in Feb 2009 and you rode in the back of the trailblazer at Jon's shop in July of 2010... Now can you do simple math and add that up? This is the second occasion you're reading/math comprehension has failed you on here. I just wanna make sure you understand since you have a man crush on me so often. Still waiting to see your POF move under it's own power... tic toc, cause all I hear is a bunch of bench racing from you...

I dunno know... coming from Casey I don't know what to believe but if you really called him spouting off lies, that's not cool. It's all good... I gave you your race twice... not my problem you couldn't hook from a low roll. It's just a common courtesy to run someone elses roll after they give you yours, twice. You prolly would have caught me anyway from a 10-20 roll... guess we'll never know lol. For all the smack talked about us "Austin roll racers" from the all mighty Casey I sure do like going from a dig or a really low roll lol. Good Luck with your truck!! I have no problem at all going from a low roll or a dig but had the boost controller setup for 60 rolls since that was what everybody else was doing. I can setup the boost contoller from 10-20 rolls and not spin i would imagine just ramp it in. So next time i see you i will do your races for sure. I mean at the end of the day its just a race and i am sure you feel the same way about it :) where are you guys from i might have to come back down to get some more runs with you and would like to race flaco too.

Damn man the red dragon truck is sick? Did anyone run my boys turbo busa? Not sure if jamie's lambo raced him or not.

sure just let me know when you come down again...i would have loved to race u but ohh well...next time we'll get together... i had a bunch of races with tons of cars, even raced Seafish from a 70 roll...he got me the first one by 4 links or so...2nd race i hooked up and got him by 4 or so links...
