Options for LS conversion harness

Hey guys, I've been meaning to visit this section more frequently but it's just been very busy lately.

I've decided to put more focus on wiring this year.
Specifically engine harnesses and all the small misc wiring items that relate.

Jon and I have a few ideas we are going to incorporate into the engine harness.

What I'd like to hear from the conversion guys is:
What would you like to see added?

Please keep in mind that we do not offer a service that fuses or grafts an obs and nbs engine harness. We only build new stand alone engine harnesses and rewire gen3 and newer harnesses. So that idea is out.

I'm talking things like:
Offer a pass thru firewall connector
Incorporate fan harness wiring
Offer a larger fuse block with additional relay and fuse locations

Suggestions along these ideas are what we are asking for.

Btw, I like the fan harness addition. Another option would be, have the fan harness wiring deadhead into a connector on all engine harnesses. Later, adding a fan harness would be as easy as plugging the fan harness into the existing engine harness connect.

Easy add-a-circuit
Individual engine connectors
Relays systems
Mini fuse blocks

Allen if you offered a fuel pump hotwire kit at a competitive price, I bet it would sell like crazy.

I second that. I am tired of sending my money to that damn canuck! :lol:

The fan harness idea is a great idea

fan harness and passing through the firewall would be a nice addition

I love this harness. Came with Fuel Pump relay, a small relay box, fan connection's, and additional fan connection (Trans fan maybe)

It made a breeze to install my engine.

I would love a passthrough connector. I would even settle for a 2 inch grommet. The fan harness would be great. Add e fans when u want to.

These are the suggestions we are lookin for! Keep them coming!

+1 on the firewall gromet, when my harness was reworked i had to cut the wires then splice them back together to go thru the firewall. the DBW and the ODB2 connector were too bulky to fit thru.

A cool feature would be additional relays for more accessories.. train horn...air compressor etc.

I like the idea of extra relays and fuses, for whatever. Nitrous etc. It'd make a much cleaner overall finished product. I'll be calling you for a harness once my brother gets off his ass and starts on his 91.

I also like the hotwire kit for the fuel pump for a 99-06 truck. Direct plug n play, wires the right length already etc.

a pass through firewall OBD2 port. this way the 96-98 guys can keep the black PCM running the original OBD2 port and not have to unhook it

How about an option of a longer harness? Ie: where you could route the harness behind the motor out of sight, like the vette harness. You may already offer this, just thought I'd put it out there.

One thing that the guys who do Vette conversions like to see but cant find, is a harness that may allow the PCM or ECM (i cant remember) to be mounted inside the vehicle. This frees up a lot of space under the hood. Space isnt a problem in trucks but just throwing it out there. I definitely like the kill switch option idea. What about multiple adapters for the different alternators i.e. 4 prong vs 2 prong?

Do your stand alone harnesses work for all make and model conversions or just trucks?

Do you have a harness set up for a L96 or L9H with VVT into a 98 2wd 5.7?

+1 for the OBDII plug at the firewall, and for fan harness.

The fan harness would be even better with the smarts for fan speed control (less inrush current)....but does the relay suffer?
