sooo need some opinions

Currently I have a 03 chevy ecsb z71 with 3 inch lift with 285/75r16. I just put in a used rear axle because my last axle decided to explode one of it bearing and totally destroyed the g80 and ring/pinion and even axles, I believe this to be the result of having a 3k lb of sod in thw bed while towing an 7k lb load of sod at the same time. Well looking at getting another truck. This one will not be lifted but would like 4wd, and due to my wife due in august, needs to be ccsb, was thinking about a dmax due to my heavy towing commands every now and then, but also love the nnbs denali's and I can't afford the dmax denali so I can only have one or the other, what do you think? Looking around 30k price

What to join the rest of Texas and drive a diesel to the grocery store and maybe tow a heavy load twice a year? Get the half ton. Less repair cost. Less head ache.

I landscape part time and tow 4k trailer 2-3 times a week, and I am in south ga, not texas.

get a dmax man, my buddy has a loaded 08, that thing is nice man, plus itll pull a house down.

Ya but doing any internal modifications on them costs 10x as gas lol

6.2l Denali or silverado 4x4 or sierra 4x4. I would personally go with a sierra 4x4 6.2l.

Would it be a vortec max or whatever?

why the hell did you ask then....just get an HD model then.

I would get a dirtymax if I were towing that much. They are almost always ridiculously nice anyways and reliable as hell.

Towing 4k isnt that much. the new half tons are rated for over twice that. Its towing 10k that wears them out. The vortec max with max tow gives you the 14 bolt to top it off. Or get a gas 2500. Not the fancy new strut suspension but well capable to tow what you want.

X2. The denali I had would tow 5-6k very well. The funny thing was, it was still faster than my 4.8 while towing that. :lol:

The new 2011 6.2 4x4s tow about 10600 pounds.

Exactly. 1/2 ton all the way. as long as you get the 6.2

Starting to think about getting a dmax and then find a blown rcsb and dropping a 6.0/4l80e

my 2011 2500 says it tows 17,000 pnds and i believe it, truck is pretty tough.

This is just for the truck I will make payments on, i would pay cash for the project truck

I have a certain amount that I will not pay for a truck, I could pay more but I won't due to it would cut into the amount I put into saving each month.

Well found a 06 chevy 2500hd with lbz Dmax with 28k miles for 29000,lt package with everything but a sunroof. Maroon in color though, not sure about the color

Gas 6.0

Repair I think everyone has, but there is such a problem that it is not always possible to make it in time and quality because it is difficult to find a good mister. Especially when it comes to garage doors. But recently I was able to find guys who are really cool to make repairs and install garage doors GTA Garage Doors . For example I am pleased with them I did everything quickly and without delay. As a company I recommend everyone to try.
