4l65E for sale $200 OBO
I'm posting this because I have no use for it and it's taking up room in the shop. I really dont have much information on this trans other than it was pulled from a 2000 Z71 4x4 that did not have a battery hooked up so we couldn't get the mileage. The truck seemed to be well taken care of and didn't have any signs of being wrecked. Me and a buddy pulled the engine and trans a few days ago and neither of us need it. The little info I have on the truck is that is spun a main bearing and both #7 and #8 rods let go. The tranny fluid looks good and has no shavings or discoloration. Shaft spins in all gears and is firm with no wiggle but I could not get the pump shaft to turn (not sure if it's supposed to). You'll notice in the pics that it does not have the tail or bellhousing and I do not have them available. The fluid on the sides of the trans is from when we pulled it. The exterior was dry when I got under to disconnect the shifter cable. This trans could work great or it could be shot. So I guess I'll start the price at $200 OBO +shipping.
EDIT: After running the numbers on the tranny tag the info I came up with is that this is a 4L65E. Not 100% sure on this just to clarify. Everything still the same from above paragraph.

Correct. I was told it was in good working condition when the engine blew. Shipping looks to be between 110 and 120. So $260 shipped and it's yours.
