Well as most of you know I run the factory 17s at the track, well about half of my runs I get pretty bad wheel hop, now on the street it just roast them but the track it tends to wheel hop. Any sugestions on fixing this besides getting slicks and a retune?
Clamp the springs. If that doesn't fix it, cal-tracs.
Are you dropping the air pressure on the tires at the track?
Dang I keep forgetting about that. Is it safe to run like that everyday or just at the track?Quote:

try clamping the springs and dropping the tires to 25 psi. if that doesnt work, then get some caltracs
Caltracs it is... Clamps didnt help me at all, But def worth a try for only $16

I built a set for my truck and it one of the best things I've done. It has zero axle wrap and wheelhop

try firming up the rear shocks. along with the clamps.

Well I undrstood that u werent suppose to leave the overload in clamped, maybe that's my problem..Quote:

wonder if the shackles play a part in this? My truck has ZERO wheel hop after installing those clamps. Only difference in our trucks is the cab.
Did some of the clamps myself for the heck of it, whole truck rides more even and puts it down to the ground better...
your tire monitors are going to go off with running lower psi
clamps do work or launch in auto if 2wd
